Dean Hollin is a busy musical theatre performer and actor. Dean also has his own radio show called The Great American Songbook (The GAS). Dean is the feature in Hollywood’s Sinatra Songbook.

Sarah Hiltz

Vocalist

Sarah Hiltz is emerging as a singularly talented Canadian musician with a voice all her own. Echoes of Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell and Feist ring out faintly through the structure of Sarah’s artistry in a modern blend of jazz and folk she’s been perfecting over the last 20+ years of performing. Adept in all styles, Sarah also has the unique ability to transform into a convincing R&B/ contemporary pop vocalist as well.

Sonja Gustafson

This multi-talented songstress can deliver sophisticated dinner music, swinging jazz, and popular favourites that will make you want to dance the night away. With her captivating voice and ever-present charm, Sonja is sure to impress in any setting. 

Peter Hysen

Musical Director

Peter is a professional arranger and multi-instrumentalist. He performs with equal enthusiasm on trombone, bass, and tuba. He also leads the 12-piece salsa band “Herencia Latina”; “The GTA Brass Quintet” and “The Home Cookin’ Dixieland Band.”  His orchestral arrangements have been performed by orchestras across Canada and the USA. Hollywood is pleased to have Peter as their musical director.

Mike Fisher

Playing professionally for 17 years, Michael brings style and feel to his playing with on-stage musical productions, tribute acts, and music theatre. His work in music extends into the field of live sound, audio and video recording, an asset to the many musical groups he is a part of. Based out of Stratford, Ontario, Michael shares his passion for music, audio/video and photography with nutrition and traditional Chinese medicine.

Byron Harrett

Byron Harrett hails from Chatham, Ontario and plays every member of the saxophone family from baritone to soprano sax as well as flute and backing vocals.  This in demand multi-instrumentalist is a welcome addition to any act he performs with.

Dean Harrison

Dean Harrison is a seasoned theatre pianist performing a wide range of productions such as “Guys and Dolls”, “West Side Story”, Joseph”, “Annie Get Your Gun”, “Meet Me in St. Louis” and many more. In his spare time Dean backs up many Jazz, pop and Blues artists locally and abroad.

Paul Mitchell

Paul Mitchell has made his living as a Professional Musician for the past 20 years and is well established in the Canadian Music scene.  Based in Kitchener Ontario, Paul performs many dates in Canada and the US with a variety of Recording acts and Tribute Bands including Hollywood. He considers himself to be very fortunate as he is constantly surrounded by many of Canada’s most talented musicians. “Sometimes it doesn’t feel much like work!”

Ray Podhornik

Ray Podhornik has been a freelance trumpet player for the past twenty plus  years and has performed with over fifty Billboard recording artists. Such artists have included  Aretha Franklin, Billy Preston, The Temptations, Natalie Cole, Glass Tiger and Spencer Davis to name a few. Work has included recording in TV, Motion Pictures, Radio, Theatre, and Corporate jingles. His travels have taken him  thru Asia to  New York.

Andy Tattersall

Andy Tattersall of Chatham Ontario is nicknamed the “pretty boy” of the band.  But don’t let that fool you, Andy is a very accomplished and in demand jazz guitarist.  Andy has a smooth melodic playing style heavily influenced by George Benson.  Andy’s style and demeanor make him a valuable part of Hollywood.

Jeff Teed

Jeff Teed of Woodstock, Ontario is a respected keyboardist in the gospel circles and adds his signature to Hollywood’s sound.   With subtle layers of strings and ivory, Jeff enriches the sound with just the right touch.  Jeff’s a positive force on and off stage making him a perfect fit for the band.

Ron Walker

Ron Walker is an in demand trumpeter from London, Ontario.

Brian McHugh

Brian McHugh is a graduate of The Percussion Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, California, and The University of Western Ontario. Brian has maintained a busy recording and performing schedule over the years touring through Canada, U.S.A., Europe, and the Caribbean backing a variety of artists in many different styles. These artists include Fritz McIntyre (formerly of Simply Red), R&B great Grant Smith and many others.  Brian is the leader of “Hollywood” and enjoys each and every performance with this great band.
